How it works:

  •  An individual learning plan is put in place and monitored by the Training Co-Ordinator.
  •  Learners can study up to 6 days per week. The self-paced training mimic’s real life work experience (self-paced audio tutorials while working through real life work scenarios and documents on a PC with the aid of a workbook. All the while having access to a Supervisor / Tutor as a when required). Set dates will be put in place for Seminars.
  • Learners have full access to 1:1 Supervisor support and careers advice.
  •  Learners who want to move ahead at their own pace can do so with access to additional courseware and the support of the 1:1 Supervisor.
  •  Learners can work through material slower or faster than their peers, catch up at home, move ahead and finish earlier etc.
  • Learners can take mock exams and/or exams early if they feel ready.
  •  This flexible system ensures daily activity and assessment is individual and always relevant.

Work Placement:
All learners must complete an 11 week work placement to complete their training. KT
Business Skills have established a good relationship with many businesses in the sector
and will be able to guide and assist learners in gaining work experience, however it is
advisable that learners establish good communication links with possible local employees
too as the ideal outcome is a permanent job immediately following the work experience.
